Viscous dampers used on higher engine ratings may require an additional surface area to dissipate heat from the damper to due higher heat load in the damper. A unique fins design onto the front cover and back side of the damper increases the heat dissipation capacity of the damper and in turn improves the performance. These dampers are generally used on all engine ratings and across all engine applications.
