A unique and additional feature is to have an extra unbalance weight on the damper central hub to accommodate the required counter weight for the crankshaft. The design helps in reducing the complexity of having a counterweight in a crankshaft. An effective way of reducing the overall cost of the engine. These dampers are generally used on smaller engine ratings across all engine applications where additional weight is required to balance the crankshaft.
